Christmas 2011

Like I said about 500 times before, Christmas Eve we went to my mom's house. Christmas day we picked up Seth and Paige around 2 and headed of to My grandparents on my dad's side where we opened gifts. My dad and his g/f got us stuff... And we weren't invited to their house to celebrate to they just put our stuff in my car. We came home and Seth and Paige had stuff from my mom and Mammaw and then we had the stuff from my dad to open. 

The 26th the kids woke up to open their stuff from Santa. They slept forever though and finally at 9:30 we woke them up. It was so funny. Kayelynn looked into the living room and was just pointing and getting all excited. 

They also got money along with gifts from my grandma so we took them to WalMart to pick stuff out. I got Kayelynn a Tag junior. And Seth go a Wii game and a board game and Paige got this Pony that walks and talks and stuff.

Over all we had a really good Christmas. I didn't take a ton of pictures though because there were 90 presents under the tree for the kids and my camera is dumb and doesn't hold that many.

Brian go me this card and he made a heart. Under the heart he put a 100 dollar bill for my tattoo! I was super surprised.

I realize I still haven't done a Christmas post! Lol. Our house has been crazy the past couple of days. I had all the furniture out of place and all on one side of the living room so we could have a ton of room to open gifts.... And it stayed like that for a couple days. I got my tree taken down on the 26th after we opened presents. Now all the toys are organized and everything has a spot. I've been catching up on my laundry (Last load is drying right now!!!) Other than that nothing new here.

Brian's grandma totaled her car on Christmas Eve. :( She's okay. They think she might have a concussion and told her to just rest. She was just worried about finishing her shopping, lol.

Hopefully I'll have pictures and a post up soon. Tomorrows a long day so maybe then. Hope everyone had an awesome Christmas.

4 Days.

4 days until Christmas!!

FINALLY know what we're doing Christmas day, thank god. Now we just have to figure out how it's all going to go time wise. I have to be at my grandparents around 2 or 3.. And Seth and Paige are eating around 1 or 2 Brian said... So I guess they can't go with us. We'll have to go get them after we go to my grandma's. At least they all get to open their presents together now though. 



Anyway. 
Last night Kayelynn woke up around 11:30 and came running into my room. I got up to put her back in bed... Repeat until 3 in the morning when I finally said to hell with it and closed her door and let her scream until she got back in bed and went to sleep. I'm going to have to fix her little sleeping problem ASAP. She used to go to bed perfectly at 8 and sleep until 7:30. Not she plays until 11 and sleeps until 10... And then she isn't tired at 8. I think I'm going to start waking her up at 6. Maybe then she will be tuckered out and go to bed at 8 again.  

Disney Autographs.

I was so excited to write to Disney and get the kids autographed pictures from their favorite characters. I was expecting this:

 

That's not what we got. I mean, for only the cost of a stamp it's not a huge deal that that's what I got, but I am VERY disappointed. This is what we got.

Obviously it's not the same as above. It's a cartoon postcard. And in case you can't tell they aren't individually signed, the names are printed on. Plus, they spelled Kayelynn's name wrong. It was addressed to "Kaylen Wall" It also took about 2 months, not the 2 weeks that everyone was saying. I even looked it up on several different sights to see what they were and everything and everyone said the same thing. A signed picture of the real life character addressed to your child. 

I don't even want to save Kayelynn's because the whole name is wrong. Lol.


Oh well. Only cost 3 stamps. 

I just wanted to add... I went to the Disney website. There's a place to get autographed postcards hand written for your child... $19.95  

Monday Again.

I had the most fun ever last night with Brian's family!! Everyone gathered at his grandma's across the street because his cousin was coming to visit after not seeing anyone on over 10 years! Everyone had a blast and I saw butts. Haha. We didn't get home until... Way late. And Brian had to leave at 7 to be at Banker school an hour and a half away. Lame. 

Kayelynn just woke up at 10:20.. The latest she has slept in... ever.. I changed her diaper and she went back in her room and turned 101 Dalmatians on and is just laying in bed watching it. She is warn out.

6 days until Christmas!! Eeks! My dad called today and apologized and begged for us to go to my grandma's on Christmas day. We were planning on going anyway. I was pretty shocked that he called though. So we're going to my mom's on Christmas Eve from 4 to 7ish. Then coming home to drink hot chocolate and watch movies. Then Christmas morning Kayelynn will wake up and open her presents. We're going to my grandma's around 2 until I don't know. And when we get home we will go to Brian's grandma's.

I don't know when Seth and Paige will get any of their gifts here. I don't think it's fair to make Kayelynn wait until it's convenient for everyone else. I was going to make her wait until the 26ths so they could be here and all open them together but I have called and texted and tried to find out what is going on and I guess Brian isn't allowed to see his kids on/around Christmas. Brian's only off on Sunday and Monday.. And I'm not making Kayelynn wait a week to open presents with them.

But yea. Nothing else new in Ohio. Kayelynn gets cuter by the day and I love Brian more by the minute. I got so lucky! He is the best husband ever! I can't wait until Thursday when he is off work. He was off Saturday and Sunday. He went to a football came Saturday and then we were at his grandparents yesterday, like I said it was awesome and fun, but it will be nice to have a day at home to ourselves.

One Born Every Minute.

The new season of One Born Every Minute has started. I'm watching the first 3 episodes on Lifetime.com right now. It's making me want to have another baby so bad! The very first episode of the season was cray. The girls mom and her boyfriends mom were both there. They ended up getting into a physical fight. It was insane. If my family ever did that I would have them banned from the hospital for the rest of my stay.

I didn't have a birth plan with Kayelynn. I just knew I didn't want to get an epidural. I wanted to go natural so bad... But I ended up not being able to. It didn't help that I had everyone telling me that I couldn't do it. So, my next time around, I'm not letting anyone say anything negative. People around me should be encouraging me, not telling me that I can't do it.

I hated the feeling of the epidural. I couldn't stand not being able to feel my legs. After I had Kayelynn, my left leg stayed numb for the longest time. It was so scary. I thought it was never going to get feeling back!

Anyway... Next time around I am going to have a plan. If my plan doesn't work that's okay. But- I want my doctor, nurses, and family to know my plan and go by it. I'm going to have everything planned down to who is in the room. Last time around Brian, my mom, my mom's mom, and Brian's grandma were in the room. I didn't want Brian's grandma in the room. I wanted my dad's mom in there instead. Brian's grandma saw Seth born... So I thought it was only fair that my 2 grandmas got to be in the room. I was pissed off that id didn't work that way. So.. Next time it's going to be Brian, my dad's mom, and my mom. Also if they let me have 4 my bfffff will be in there too.

And, I'm not dealing with bitch nurses. After Kayelynn was born I knew that if she didn't eat a certain amount she wouldn't be allowed to go home. For the first 24 hours almost Kayelynn wouldn't latch on. My 1st nurse said to just wait. Finally I demanded formula. I told them I knew that my baby was starving and that I wanted formula at that exact moment. They finally got the formula. The wanted her to eat about 75cc's every 3 hours. She wouldn't so instead I was giving her around 30-35cc's every hour and a half. Basically the same amount. Well, this one nurse came in and started bitching me out saying I was feeding her too much. I was so furious. A baby isn't going to eat if they aren't hungry. There isn't a difference in feeding your baby 75 ccs every 3 hours or every 35ccs 1.5 hours. It's the same amount (Not to mention she gave my baby the Hep. shot without my consent and after I specifically told her I didn't want her getting it.)

We got a call from the Home Nurse after her visit. Kayelynn's Bilirubin level was super high. They told us to get her to the hospital ASAP. (If you didn't know, if a baby has too high of a bilirubin level for too long - it can cause brain damage.) At the hospital I asked about her not eating for 24 hours. They straight up told me that that could be a reason that her levels didn't go down. They didn't say it was the def. cause, but your baby gets rid of bilirubin by pooping- if they aren't eating they aren't pooping. 

I got a call asking about my stay.. I went off on the lady. I told her about the nurse not giving me formula and then the other nurse yelling at me saying I was feeding her too much. That same nurse is the one who gave Kayelynn the shot w/o my consent. She was shocked and I think I got that nurse fired. No joke.

I would love to have a home birth so bad.

Psh. All this and I don't have anything to worry about yet. Got AF yesterday. >=[

The waiting game.

Geez. Just waiting to see it Aunt Flo shows up or not. How come the one time we slip up and don't use protection I get pregnant... But when we actually try I don't. Grrr. Pisses me off.

Brian's 2nd cousin just found out she's pregnant. She has 2 kids who are 20 and 19. I'm so jealous!! I mean, I'm happy for her. She had a miscarriage back in May or June. Hopefully everything goes great for her.

I was also thinking that I would be 21 weeks pregnant if I wouldn't have miscarried. That is insane. I would be half way done. :(
 
I don't really have anything else to talk about. We haven't been up to much around here. Out heat sucks. It gets down to around 55-56 at night. As soon as we wake up I get the fire place started and it warms up pretty quick. I put Kayelynn in 2 pairs of PJ's at night and cover her up with 3 blankets. Lol. Brian is under the house right now trying to figure out what's going on. I feel bad because there is a ton of water under the house that is freezing cold!

Kayelynn is so cute. Every time she pees or poops she comes and tells me. She sounds so cute saying "Mommy, I pee" The only problem is every time she pees she takes her diaper off. The other day I went to get her up from her nap and she was wearing a pull up... Only both legs were in one hole.. So her little booty was hanging out. She wont sit on the potty though. Not for long anyway. I think if she'd just pee once she would realize. I'm not going to really start trying until after the new year. There's too much going on around Christmas to try to get a routine started.  

21 more days.

Eeks! Christmas is on 21 days. This year went by so fast!! 

Kayelynn will be 2 in 3 months. Ahh!! I'll probably start planning her party after the new year. I'm probably not inviting that many people... After last year with the huge fight I'm not inviting anyone on my dad's side. That way I can avoid drama.. Because if what happened last year were to happen again.. I would so be cutting everyone on that side of the family out of Kayelynn's life.. She hasn't even seen them in 3 months.. Thay haven't even called or wrote to ask how she was. I talk to my mom almost everyday and she always asks about Kayelynn. My dad and his family are too busy with my dad's girlfriend's grandkids. Eff that.

Seth and Paige went home last night. They were here for 11 days. It feels funny now but I'm also so happy that I wont have to go to the school any next week to take Seth. It is such a hassle to get all 3 kids in the car... Then out of the car.. up 2 flights of steps.. Down 2 flights of steps.. into the car... Home.. Out of the car.. And then all over again to pick Seth up.

Thank goodness Kayelynn's bed time is in half an hour. She is so cranky and tired because she didn't have a nap today. 

I really want to start getting up at 7:30 when Brian does. Here lately I have been sleeping until 9-9:30 and can't fall asleep at night. It's horrible. I couldn't fall asleep until 3 in the morning last night.

Where has time gone?

I was supposed to post on Monday... And for whatever reason didn't. 

I got the rest of the kids' Christmas stuff in the mail on Monday and Tuesday. So, Tuesday night I spent forever finishing wrapping it all. Took another 4 rolls of wrapping paper... Literally all of it. Then Seth walked into the living room right after I finished and it was all laying there out in the open. I hurried and yelled at him to go back to bed. He was half asleep and out of it and didn't mention it after that, thank goodness. So, now it's a waiting game until then!!


I still don't know how it's going to work though.. Last year Seth and Paige's mom let us have them on Christmas morning... So this year she's most likely going to have them. And I want all 3 kids to open presents together. And, I want them to have the whole wake up and run into the living room experience. So, what I pretty much think is going to happen is that Seth and Paige will come over here Christmas night after everything at their mom's... And wake up here on the 26th... Thank goodness Brian has the 26th off. I still have to talk to their mom about it though to make sure. And if she says we can't have them Christmas night I guess Kayelynn will open hers on Christmas morning by herself and Seth and Paige will have to wait. I would hate to do it like that- but I'm not going to make Kayelynn wait longer, that's not fair to her. Especially since Seth and Paige will get to wake up and open them at their moms. :(

Other than Christmas stuff, nothing else is really going on around here. Brian and I have been doing the 30 Day Shred... Tonight will be the fourth night. We are both so sore!! Lol. Hopefully it works though!!

I can't find an elf anywhere. And I am not paying $30 for an Elf on the Shelf book/elf.. 

More tomorrow since it's Monday!! Yay.

Thanksgiving.

Made my very first Thanksgiving dinner. It was just Brian, the kids, and myself. It turned out amazing. We went to Brian's Grandma's the night before (Wednesday) and had a Thanksgiving dinner there also.. I'm pretty much done with turkey until next year. lol.

I'm officially done Christmas shopping. I have 8 things coming in the mail and after I wrap those I'll be completely done wrapping too.

Our tree is up and decorated!

Our electric bill for October/November is outrageous. I'm pissed. I've been very strict on the heat use just for this reason...

The kids are in their rooms being very quiet.. That's never good.

Hopefully we can sell Brian's motorcycle.. That was we wont have to worry about bills and the stupid electric bill.. Which now we really don't have to worry... But I like having extra money just in case.

This is a pointless post. I have to finish my cleaning though and I'm procrastinating. Just wanted to post something because I haven't in a while.

   You are a bitch. Not only do you make me feel like crap, but you also tricked me into thinking you weren't going to come at all. What kind of dirty little trick to come 5 days late after you already got my hopes up. You used to be welcome, but you need to take note... You are not welcome any more. This is your last visit for 10 months, so you better make this one a good one. 
   If you show up next month I will seriously flip the freak out.

Another Post About Car Seats.

I don't understand what is wrong with parents. This girl I went to school with had her twins at 30 weeks. They are now 10 months old and she keeps posting pictures of them in the car in their new forward facing car seats. Seriously?!!? Not only are they too young to be forward facing, their chest straps are about 2 inches above their legs. Grrrrr.

Kayelynn is 20 months old and still rear facing.. And guess what, she will continue to be until she outgrows the weight limit... Which is 40 pounds... She's about 22 now.

And I hate when people use the excuse that their child's legs touch the seat... Really. Not only are broken legs fixable, unlike a broken neck, they are more comfortable with their legs on the seat than with their legs hanging down.

I really wish doctors would start stressing the importance of extended rear facing instead, doctors are encouraging parents to turn their kids around as soon as they hit that 20 lb mark... Doctor's need to start educating parents. They need to let parents know that at 1 year, a child's neck still isn't strong enough to with stand a car crash.

I saw someone at Wal-mart a while back who had a kid who had to be AT LEAST 2 and was in an infant carrier still. The back of the seat went to the child's neck and their knees were over the bottom. That pisses me off to. People really need to start abiding by the weight and height limits on car seats!!!

We were supposed to go bowling tomorrow morning. If you go on a Sunday morning it's only $5.00 and show rentals are a dollar as well as drinks and hot dogs. Brian's cousin agreed to babysit on Thursday. Brian randomly texted her to make sure she knew what time and she let us know she isn't going to be home. First of all that's not really a big deal... But she didn't let us know on her own. If Brian wouldn't have texted her we would have just been waiting on her to get here and she would have been a no-show. I am so tired of people doing that kind of stuff!! Have some respect. 

Anyway, now we have to go tonight... But the only way we can go is if Brian's grandma watches Kayelynn... Which means we have to take Kayelynn to her house, which is across the street. Problem being Kayelynn is already asleep and I'm afraid she isn't going to go back to bed when we go over there. And also, bowling tonight isn't until 11:30.. And is over at 2:00... I'm to old for that. LMAO.

Well, guess I have to go start getting ready. We're going to go to his Gma's a little early so I can get Kayelynn to sleep in his cousin's room.. And the bowling ally is an hour away.

**Oh, and I still haven't gotten AF... wtf. I'm 3 days late... And I took another test today.. Negative. Grrr.

Hopefully I'll have a new post soon. If not soon, defiantly on Monday. Brian's been on vacation since Tuesday. He goes back on Monday so I'll have time to blog then. We went on a date night last night. It was awesome. We went to O'Charley's and then went and saw Jack and Jill at the midnight showing. 

Aside from that we've been playing Call Of Duty MW3... A lot. Lol.

Getting seriously annoyed with Aunt Flo. She was supposed to be here 2 days ago and still hasn't arrived... But I've taken quite a few tests and they are all negative. Blah.

Bad blogger.

I've been a bad blogger lately. Mostly because of.....

As of right now I have around 10 things left to buy... But I will probably get a little more than that so each kid has the same number of presents to open. Right now there are 70 things... And 15 of those are stocking stuffers. I'm so excited to have everything that we have so far wrapped. Mostly everything else I'm ordering online... Except for the Tinker Bell quad... Which I am still unsure about. I read the reviews online and there were a lot of people saying that once their kids was 2 they didn't really fit well on it... And since Kayelynn will be 2 by the time it starts getting warm again after Christmas I don't really want to take that chance it that's the case.

Trick or Treating.

We had a blast last night Trick or Treating. It wasn't super cold so the kids weren't miserable. Little Ms. Independent Kayelynn wouldn't let me hold her or her hand. She walked by herself and held her own bucket for 2 hours!! It was so funny. We had a plastic Wal-Mart bag to empty their buckets into and Paige would empty hers after 10 pieces but Kayelynn wouldn't let me empty hers. I would have to hurry and do it and then put a little candy back in it so she wouldn't cry. She walked up to the people, took the candy, put it in her bucket, and just waited until I had to tell her to say thank you and to come on. She didn't understand why the people had a whole bowl of candy and she only got one piece. Haha.

Seth decided the girls were too slow for him and Masyn(My little sister) So they went up ahead with my mom and stepdad and they ended up getting done before us. After the 2 hours was up Paige was begging to be held and Kayelynn was still running along the sidewalk carrying her little bucket.

Seth got a remote control Airplane jet thing, 200 tattoos, money, Cars 2 Operation, Ninjas, Play-doh (I wrapped each one individually... All 40 of them) A cap gun, and some Play-Doh tools.

 Paige was sick. Her mom dropped her off Saturday night after they went Trick or Treating and she has a 101 fever, nice I know. The party was Sunday. In all the pictures where she is dirty looking the camera it's because I was off doing something and not holding her. Late on that night she had a 103 fever. I almost ended up taking her to the ER because she just wasn't acting right. But about 10 minutes after giving her medicine she was okay and was asking for popsicles for her sore throat. She's fine today, thank goodness because I told Brian if she was still sick she wasn't going Trick or Treating with us. 

It ended up turning out great.. We're going to my mom's tonight to got Trick or Treating. Everyone at Mom's is being a Zombie, that should be interesting.
