Also I don't know if I said this yet but we got a pool! Well actually Brian's grandma and grandpa gave us one. Ahhhhhhhh. It should be done filling up sometime today.

I also got an Acer tablet- It's like an ipad..... Only not. You don't have to have itunes and they have over a thousand free apps. I love it.

Anyway, more later!!!!!!!

Tuesday Already!?

This weekend was a good one (for the most part).

Friday: The kids and I just hung out until 6:45, then Seth and Paige's mom picked them up. We played outside and went through clothes and just relaxed. When Brian got home at 7 Kayelynn, Brian, and I went to Bob Evans to eat. I felt a little bad because when Brian got back from paying the bill he only had one single and some change... (Plus he thought I had money so he payed with his credit card and didn't leave a tip.) So, we only left a dollar and some change. (This comes into play later on in the weekend.)

We went to the Drive-In and saw Harry Potter. Never again. We took Kayelynn with us... Like we have before. Only this time she didn't go straight to sleep like she usually does. So we had to sit in the car.. windows up... With a screaming baby. Fail.

Saturday: I had the funeral to go to. It was super sad. Seeing my Uncle cry though was even more sad. I don't like seeing the people I care about hurt. After the funeral though my family (My mom, step-dad, Uncle Donnie, Uncle Shane, Mammaw & her boyfriend, Aunt Connie & her boyfriend, my cousin Vikki and her daughter Dare, Uncle Shane, my cousin Austin and then a few family friends) were all going out to eat. Brian was at home watching Kayelynn so I wasn't going to go without them. I ran home and got them and we went back to meet them for dinner. We went to Bob Evans. My uncle Donnie told us that he was going to pay for us, but my Mammaw ended up stealing Mom, Shane, Donnie, and our bill and paid for everyone. Anyway, everyone left tips. My uncle Donnie(whose bill we were on) left a 5 dollar tip, plus we added 2 more dollars. So that was 7 dollars for the 3 of us. (Our bill was only $35) That's a 20% tip, when most people only leave a 10% tip... (This comes into play later on.) P.S it was the same waitress that we had the day before.

Later on Saturday we went shopping. I got my nails done (Finally!!!!) We bought some new shoes and some clothes for the kids and stuff. It was awesome.

Sunday: We went to Bob Evan's with Justin(Brian's BFFFFFF). Justin's girlfriend works there, and he wanted to go see her... That's the only reason we went for a third time. ANYWAY. Hannah (Justin's g/f) said that when we walked in one of the other girls was like "They don't tip at all" come to find out it was our waitress from Friday and Saturday. I was so mad! I mean Friday when we left a dollar was a mistake. But there was nothing we could do about it. I wasn't about to drive to an ATM to get some money... She wasn't even that great of a waitress. But on Saturday she got a 20% tip from us. So now if we ever go back there and have her as our waitress, she wont get a tip since she wants to go and tell everyone we don't tip.

Anyway, we went to East Fork to go swimming. Kayelynn loved it. She LOVES water. Then we went and visited my Grandma. She hasn't seen Kayelynn since Easter.

Over all it was an amazing weekend. We spent entirely too much money, but our bills got paid, Brian's car got fixed, and the kids got some new winter clothes. I also bought Kayelynn a Barney DVD set which I am super excited about. When I was little I was OBSESSED with Barney. I knew my ABC's and how to count to 10 before I was 2 thanks to watching him. The set is a learning pack. It came with 6 different DVD's about numbers, colors, and ABC's. Awesomeeee.

We get our puppy soon. It's a Pomapoo. (Poodle and Pomeranian mix.) We're naming her Renesmee. 'Nessie' for short since Paige can't pronounce Renesmee.

Easter.

Easter.

Easter

Kind of annoyed.

I take that back. I am very annoyed.

Back history. When I was 6 or 7 my Uncle took care of this kid named Ronnie (I'm pretty sure Ronnie was his foster son..). Ronnie was 7 years older than me, so I guess he was 13 or 14. Anyway, my Uncle raised him until Ronnie was 18. Ronnie would babysit me from time to time... And every time I spent the night with Uncle Donnie, Ronnie was there. Best. Baby sitter. Ever.

Anyway, Uncle Donnie moved to New Orleans, and the last time I saw Ronnie was at Donnie's going away party. (The night I found out I was pregnant). It was in August of 2009.

I wouldn't say that I was super close with Ronnie. I mean I was when I was little and he was like an awesome big brother, but once he moved out of Donnie's I really never saw him... Maybe 3 or 4 times maximum since I was 11 or 12.

Anyway Monday I got a call and was told that they had found Ronnie dead in the woods behind an apartment building. They assumed it was a drug overdose. I was extremely sad. This guy used to babysit me all the time. He even bought me a pen at the zoo once. I was also sad for my uncle, for Ronnie's family, and for Ronnnie's kids. He has 3, plus one on the way.

Anyway, I guess they got some more information and found out that he actually died on Saturday. His g/f said that when he left her house he went to a neighbors. She thinks he overdosed at the neighbors and they put him in the woods so they wouldn't get in trouble. Who knows.

(And please no negative comments about him overdosing or anything like that. I know he didn't have the ideal life. He did do drugs and I know that part is his own fault. But just because he did drugs does not mean that he was a bad person. I don't even really know anything about how his life was now. All I do know is that I wish the people who are still close to him would have tried harder helped him to help himself. My uncle did tell my mom that everyone knew he was using drugs and that they were trying to help him and trying to get him to quit but he wouldn't listen. I don't know what happened to him that would make him feel like drugs were the answer.)

His family was having a lot of trouble coming up with the burial money since he didn't have any type of life insurance or anything, and they just told everyone that the services are going to be on Saturday..

ANYWAY. The reason I am annoyed is because I really want to go to his funeral on Saturday...... But I have no one to watch the kids. Seth and Paige's mom wont answer her phone or return my texts. Brian has to work all day Saturday and he can't watch the kids. I have no one that I can ask to watch all 3 of them... I don't even have someone to watch Kayelynn. I just don't know what to do. My mom and Mammaw and stuff will be at the funeral so they can't. I don't really trust Brian's grandma to watch her.... Plus I absolutely hate asking people to babysit for me!

URGH. I am so tired of helping everyone else when no one ever wants to help me.

Rant over now.
If you made it to the end of this you deserve a cookie or something.

My child.

Kayelynn and my dad.

Getting into stuff.

She loves that hat.

Up to no good.

My child is a total mommy's girl. She wants nothing to do with any other person, even Brian. It doesn't matter who that person is. My mom, my dad, my brothers. NO ONE. It's quite hilarious but at the same time... annoying. When Brian gets home from work and I try to give her to him she screams and throws a fit. If we go anywhere and someone looks at her or lord forbid tries talking to her she has a meltdown. I have to hold her anytime we go to someones house because she freaks out. I'm hoping she grows out of this soon.

Not only is she having a severe attachment to my hip, she is also hating bed/nap time. She does okay to bed most of the time... But nap time is a whole different story. She will get out of bed and lay in front of her door where she'll eventually fall asleep. Whenever I check on her I have to lay on the floor and peek under her door to insure that I don't hit her with it.

And, there's really nothing I can do to break that habit... She's in a toddler bed so I can't really make it to where she can't get out of bed... And going in her room every 2 seconds and putting her back and bed does nothing either. If anything it gets her more wound up because she thinks I'm going in the room to let her out. Ahh I'm stuck. Hopefully she'll grow out of this too.

Another thing she does is throw her food on the ground when she's finished. I know this isn't a life endangering ordeal... But it is annoying. Whenever she is done with her food she throws plate and all onto the floor. I have tried telling her no before she does it, while she's doing it, and also after it's done. I've stopped her and told her it was bad. I have also given her a smack on the hand. She continues to do it.

Some more on Kayelynn while we're talking about her...

  • She says bye now, along with waving. Ah-dorable.
  • She loves baths. She especially loves dumping water on the bathroom floor.
  • She is mean!
  • She loves Paige's Baby Alive. It's the one that comes with bananas and a cup. You have to feed it and it talks and stuff. She knows how to use a spoon, bottle, or her finger and get her to talk. It's so cute.
  • She pushes everything around in her doll baby stroller. Babies, blankets, her sippy cup, underwear. Lol.
  • Has no interest in TV what-so-ever. I have this Meet The Colors DVD that teaches kids their colors (if you couldn't tell by the name.) Seth and Paige love it. Not Kayelynn.
  • The kids loves chocolate milk.
  • She hates water. So I make one packet of Kool Aid... With twice the amount of water you're supposed to use. It's basically REALLY watered down Kool Aid... It's what all the kids drink. No pop for these kiddos.
  • She knows how to take her clothes off... It's only a matter of time until the diaper comes off too. Joy.
  • The other day I was changing her diaper and I forgot the new diaper so I went to get it. When I told her to lie down so I could put her diaper on she grabbed the diaper, said "no", proceeded to bite the diaper, and went and sat on her potty... She didn't go but hey, it's a start.
  • She hates my brother, Colten. He's 11. He can't even look at her because she screams.
  • Whenever you hold her, she pats your back. Too cute.
  • She will wipe her nose if you tell her to.
  • She HATES having her hair done. :(
  • She likes to put things in the toilet. And let me tell you, keeping the bathroom door closed with a 3 and 4 year old in the house constantly peeing is hard.
  • She also likes to put things in the trash.... Spoons, toys, my flip flops.
That's pretty much all I can think of. It's 12:14 AM... I should be in bed... Internet has royally screwed up my sleeping habits.

For serious.

So far this summer I have seen constant reports of babies, infants, and kids drowning. Either in kiddie pools, swimming pools, or even rivers.

Yesterday there was a report of a 5 month old who was in it's Bumbo seat in a kiddie pool. The mother turned her back and the baby tipped over and died. There was also a report yesterday of a 9 year old who drowned in a river.

There have been so many reports on the news of kids drowning... At least one or two a day. It pisses me off so bad! Mothers, please. If you can't keep a constant watch on you kid(s) then wait to let them swim until they can. I understand things happen, but why risk it!?

That's one of those things that could be completely avoided. Like the whole car seat thing. I went to my mom's over the weekend and her friend was there with her grandson. He was 7 months old and when they left, she put him in the back of the car in a forward facing car seat. GAH!! That just makes me so angry!! Not only is he 7 months old.. He is way smaller than Kayelynn.. And she isn't even big enough to forward face, so I know he isn't either.

Rant done.

It's been a long day already.

-Kayelynn came into my room at 7:30. Not cool.
- Put her back to bed and then go back to sleep myself.
-Wake up and make the kids waffles.
-Discover Seth peed to bed, again.
-Get Seth cleaned and changed.
-Clean up the waffles Kayelynn threw ALL.OVER.THE.FLOOR.
-Put the kids in Seth's room to play while I clean up from breakfast.
-Hear what sounds like a dying kid.
-Kayelynn hit Paige with her cup.
-Make Paige go poop on the potty.
-She's still sitting in there. She needs to poop. She's been here since Friday and hasn't pooped.
-Now I'm doing this.

It might not sound like much... But all this happened in half an hour (Starting from the 3rd row.)

Plans for the rest of the day...
Give kids baths, get them dressed, feed them lunch, clean the kitchen, do laundry, clean the living room, give Kayelynn a nap, clean rest of house, Get dinner started, eat, at 7:30 get kids ready for bed, put kids to bed at 8, clean up from dinner, and relax for the rest of the night.

Fun.

I Hate Titles.

So.... Seems like everyone else has stopped blogging too. All of the blogs I follow update once every few weeks. :( I guess I have to find some more to read now.

So anyway, there's a pretty good possibility that Paige isn't going to be able to go to school since she isn't potty trained. So, Unless she magically becomes completely potty trained within the month, she's not going to school. Kayelynn's not going to be going to preschool either. That's just one thing I don't believe in.

Kids go to school for 13 years. Kindergarten through 12th grade. 5 to 17 years old. That's a long time. So why add 2 or 3 extra years of schooling onto that. (This preschool starts at 3. And Seth can't start school until he's 6 because his birthday is after the cut off, he'll be going to preschool for 3 years.) Also, Seth is SUPER smart. And he already knows how to spell his name and also knows his letters and all that... When he gets to Kindergarten he's going to be so bored!

Not only that, I feel like the things that they learn in preschool when they are 3... Those are things that parents should be teaching them.... Their ABC's and colors... Things like that. So, instead of paying $85 dollars a month for preschool... I'll each my own child.

(If you have kids in preschool, I'm not trying to bash you or anything like that. Just for me personally, putting my kids in preschool isn't an option or something that I think would be right for my family.)

Updates On Everyone.

Brian and I: So Brian and I are great. His job is great. I love that I can stay home with the kids. There is a part of me that wants to get a job though. The extra money would be amazing. But if I get a job then there would be no one to take Seth and Paige to school and I also don't have anyone to watch Kayelynn. Maybe I can get something part time and only work Saturday-Monday. I don't know. We'll figure something out.

Seth: Seth is the smartest kid ever. He's also super sweet, most of the time. He keeps his room clean without me having to ask. Most of the time he keeps the living room clean to. Awesome.

Paige: So She still isn't pooping on the potty. I don't know what's going on. She wont poop far a week at a time. She comes back from her mom's and is wearing a pull up that is full of pee. I just don't understand. Seth and Paige both told us that their mom encourages her to pee in her pull up. I don't get it! I've been trying to get their mom to take her to the doctor for months, but she thinks that Paige is just scared to poop on the potty. I think that the fact when I make her sit on the potty and push her poop out she screams and cries saying it hurts.... Oh anfd the fact that she'll go a week without pooping.

Kayelynn: So she weighs 20 pounds now. She is still rear facing and will be until she is past the rear facing limits on her car seat. She wont eat unless I giver her a fork.... Even if she's eating dry cereal. She is so sweet. She officially calls me "Mommy" Ahhhhh. It's so cute!

Our house pisses me off. The air conditioning doesn't really work. We keep it set on 68 but it wont go under 78. Also, there is a leak in Kayelynn's room in the roof. GR. Brian really needs to fix it.... Who know when that will be.

I'm so happy to have internet. It is awesome to be catching up on our shows. Lol. The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Bones, Army Wives, Pretty Little Liars, Lie To Me, Desperate Housewives, 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom... Just to name a few. Lol.

Guess What.

I have internet now!! Yay!!

Right after I posted my last update about my phone having a blogger app my phone died. So I had to get a new one. I got a blackBerry and it wouldn't let me update my blog at all. But we have internet now so I will def. be updating a ton and posting some pictures as soon as I get them all onto the computer.

I am so excited!!
