23 Weeks.

Nothing has changed from last weeks survey.. So I'm not redoing it. Lol.

It's going too fast.

Time, that is.

This pregnancy is flying by. I'm going to be 23 weeks tomorrow!! Ah!

Kayelynn will be 3 in less than a week. How is that possible?!?! I seriously can't believe it!! 3 whole years. :(

I can't believe it's about to be March. Wasn't Thanksgiving just last week? It really feels like it.

So.. Kayelynn's birthday, my brother's birthday, Easter, my sister's birthday, my dad's birthday, my step-dad's birthday, Paige's birthday, and then JUNE. My Due date month!!!

*I'm just going to consider June my due date month. There's a huge possibility that I'm going to have this baby before my due date. Kayelynn was due March 26th and came March 4th. This baby is due June 26th, so if it follows Kayelynn it could be here June 4th! **Yea, yea, every pregnancy is different and I could actually go over my due date... But I want to be prepared, just in case.

22 Weeks.

**WEEKLY SURVEY**
~WEEK 22~ (On Wednesday)

How big is the baby? The size of a spaghetti squash!!  (12 inches and 1 whole pound!!!)
Weight Gain: -15 pounds.

 Gender: GIRL.
Maternity Clothes? Yes and no. I can still fit into my regular jeans and shirts, but I prefer my maternity clothes.
Sleep?  Pretty good. I'm always tired though.

Symptoms: SORE. This ninja baby beats me.
Best Moment of the Week? I got all the baby clothes and things put away and organized.
Food Cravings/Aversions:  Sweat tea... YUMMM. Can't get enough.

Movement: Since 16 weeks!! I started feeling baby on the outside at 18 weeks, and Brian felt it at 18 weeks 6 days. She is ALWAYS moving. She flips, punches, kicks.
What I miss? Not being sore all the time.
What I'm Looking forward to? 24 weeks. She'll be viable outside the womb.
Happy or moody: Both.

My view when looking down. Lol.
I can not wait until 24 weeks. I will be so much less worried and stressed knowing Baby A can survive outside of the womb.

I was thinking the other night that I wanted the diaper bag packed by 32 weeks... THAT'S 10 WEEKS AWAY!!!! Ahh! This is going by so fast!! Seriously, I can't believe that I'm already 22 weeks!! I know once it starts getting warm out it's going to start going by at lightening speed. We have Kayelynn's birthday coming up on March 4th, Paige's birthday on May 28th, plus Brian's going to get his business back up and going for the summer. Plus all the fun things that the warm weather bring!!

Hospital.

Yup. That's where I was today.

Around 11 in the morning I started getting braxton hicks. No big deal. So, I drank water and relaxed/read for a little while on my left side.

Around 2:30 they were not going away and were a little intense. So, off to the hospital we went.

They hooked me up to monitors and I got the whole "It's probably just growing pains and dehydration" crap that they like to tell everyone. So, they made me drink 64 ounces of water. I went to go pee. Came back and laid down and was in pain!

The nurse comes in and informs me that "water is supposed to to stop the contractions, but your uterus is just like 'Oh, thanks for the water' and keeps on going."

As you can see, those are actual contractions, not braxton hicks. So, I had to get a shot in my arm to make them stop.

**On a happier note, the nurse wanted to listen to baby girls heart rate. So, I told her "She likes to run from the doppler." Sure enough she starts laughing and says that the baby was moving around and she had to chase it. Lol. Then, the baby kept kicking the doppler. At one point, she kicked so hard that she made the nurses hard shoot up into the air! it was so funny.

Anyway, I'm back home relaxing now. I've had a couple contractions here and there, but nothing too bad. So hopefully today was just a fluke.

The doctor did say that we have to use condoms from now on. Lol. Sperm makes you contract (And can actually aid in thinning and softening the cervix) but apparently I'm one of those lucky ones who is like extra sensitive or something. The nurse kept making 'jokes' about how it wont prevent pregnancy though... I heard grasshoppers. Lol.

Baby stuffs.

If you haven't heard...

Little miss kept her legs closed the entire time. Lol. She wouldn't uncross them for anything.
I thought it was funny because when Kayelynn was born, her legs were crossed and the umbilical cord was wrapped all around them so she couldn't uncross them. Lol.

We went and bought pretty much ALL the baby stuff today. My mom's buying the crib, so we didn't get that. I got all kinds of outfits, socks, shoes, car seat, stroller, play pin, blankets, crib bedding, baby book, a Moby Wrap, hats, a few bottles. So, I don't really need that much more. Maybe a swing and a Boppy pillow. I don't know. I'm sure there's more.

I think Kayelynn has an ear infection. So, I'll probably end up taking her to the doctor tomorrow. She keeps waking up and screaming that her ear hurts. I gave her some meds and she's finally back asleep. It's been 10 minutes so far, so hopefully she stays asleep. I hate when she's sick. :(
