Hospital.

Yup. That's where I was today.

Around 11 in the morning I started getting braxton hicks. No big deal. So, I drank water and relaxed/read for a little while on my left side.

Around 2:30 they were not going away and were a little intense. So, off to the hospital we went.

They hooked me up to monitors and I got the whole "It's probably just growing pains and dehydration" crap that they like to tell everyone. So, they made me drink 64 ounces of water. I went to go pee. Came back and laid down and was in pain!

The nurse comes in and informs me that "water is supposed to to stop the contractions, but your uterus is just like 'Oh, thanks for the water' and keeps on going."

As you can see, those are actual contractions, not braxton hicks. So, I had to get a shot in my arm to make them stop.

**On a happier note, the nurse wanted to listen to baby girls heart rate. So, I told her "She likes to run from the doppler." Sure enough she starts laughing and says that the baby was moving around and she had to chase it. Lol. Then, the baby kept kicking the doppler. At one point, she kicked so hard that she made the nurses hard shoot up into the air! it was so funny.

Anyway, I'm back home relaxing now. I've had a couple contractions here and there, but nothing too bad. So hopefully today was just a fluke.

The doctor did say that we have to use condoms from now on. Lol. Sperm makes you contract (And can actually aid in thinning and softening the cervix) but apparently I'm one of those lucky ones who is like extra sensitive or something. The nurse kept making 'jokes' about how it wont prevent pregnancy though... I heard grasshoppers. Lol.
