Still pretty amazed.

I am still pretty amazed that Kayelynn is 100% potty trained!! Day, night, outings, everything!! She hasn't had one accident in 3 weeks!! It's crazy!!

It's so funny too, because she changes her underwear constantly. Lol. I'm all for hygiene.. Especially when it comes to underwear. I make sure the kids change them every morning when they get dressed. Kayelynn on the other hand changes them in the morning and in the evening.. And sometimes in the middle of the day. I'm not going to make her stop though, because I like that she's in the habit of changing them. Plus, I know she's excited to wear them all.. I have a slight underwear and sock obsession.. And she has over 70 pairs of underwear. Lol. I can't help it!

Other than that, I've been making sure to talk to her about the baby all the time. She knows it's a girl and her baby sister. Brian thinks she's going to be super jealous when the baby is born but I don't think so. I think she'll want to help and want to be involved with everything. I hope so, anyway.

I CAN NOT wait to pack the diaper bag. I'm holding off until 32 weeks.. (That's only 6 weeks and a few days away. EEKS.) I'm trying to wait because I know I will want to pack and repack! Lol. I also have to pack a bag for myself and Brian, and then another one for Kayelynn. Possibly even Seth and Paige if they stay with us for a while in the summer. I'm waiting to pack for me and Brian until last minute though, because we'll need our stuff! Lol.

  1. Yay Kayelynn! I bet you're happy that you won't have two in diapers! Lol.

I was sure Grace was going to be super jealous, but she never was. She was a little confused at the hospital... like, "Where did that baby come from and why is my mom holding is?" But she was very interested in him as well. Patting his head and giving him kisses and such.
She's always been very eager to help with him as well. I'm sure Kayelynn will do just fine. She seems like a very sweet little girl. She'll make a great big sister :)

  2. I can't wait to see pics of her an kayelynn! I'm so excited!! I always did stuff last minute too because I would just drive myself crazy looking at all the stuff ready to go and yet no baby! Lol! None of my little ones were jealous of the next. They were always curious and would actually fight over who got to do what when! Haha!! I think she will be an amazing big sister!!
