I have been taking online classes at the University of Phoenix since October of 2013. As of right now I am set to graduate in May of 2015. I am going for my Associates Degree in Health Care Administration with a concentration in Electronic Health Records. I am not sure if I want to continue on and get my Bachelor's Degree or not.
For the most part, I like it.
There is one downside though. When I was looking for information, one of the reasons I decided on this college was because I would have the freedom to go at my own pace and go my schoolwork when ever I wanted, whether it be on the weekends, middle of the night, whenever.
Of course, they do have a requirement that you must post on three separate day in order to get attendance points, which is no big deal. Usually I would do my work on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Then I would be done all week.
When we moved, I started doing my work on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. This schedule worked great for me. Now with this current set of classes, I have things due on Tuesday and Thursday, which messes up my schedule. Obviously it isn't a huge deal for me since I am a SAHM and I am able to do my work whenever, but it is still annoying. I was lead to believe that I would have the freedom to do my work whenever I wanted and that isn't the case.
Something petty, I know, but it bugs me. Lol.
Other than that it's going good for the most part. It's kind of boring because of the classes I am currently taking (Creative Writing, Personal Finance, Communication.) Starting with my next classes though I get to take Math, Science, History - Fun stuff!!
