As of today I am officially as far along as I was when Kayelynn was born. (36w6d.)
I had a doctor's appointment on Friday.
I was 5 centimeters dilated.
The look on the doctor's face was amazing.
When she saw that I was 5 centimeters, shit. got. real.
Conversation took a different tone.
I was told to go straight to the hospital if I started having consistent contractions or if my water broke.
If not, I could have a baby at home or in the car.
So, I went back to my mom's (who was watching the girls for me,)
and sat on the couch until my little brother got home from school.
I brought him home with me because we were all scared that I was going to go into labor at any second, and I would need someone to watch the kids.
(The original plan was that when I go into labor my 18 year old brother is going to come here with the 14 year old brother to watch the kids. But, they live 30 minutes away, so now I'm a little nervous.
Anyway, all weekend.... Nothing.
Finally on Sunday night I took my brother home.
As soon as we crossed the bridge into Kentucky I started having contractions.
Every 3 to 4 minutes.
So, I stayed at my mom's for a few hours, just in case.
And.... Nothing! They slowed down.
So, now I'm at the point I think baby is never coming. Lol
Believe me... I am happy that baby is cooking a little longer.
But, it is unbelievable that I am so far dilated and nothing!!
Plus, people keep acting like I am lying or something.
That's the worst part I think.
Anyway...
I am keeping my house pretty much spotless.
I have clothes all set out for both girls so my brothers don't have to worry about that.
I have disposable diapers for them to use.
My bag and the baby's bag are in the car.
Just waiting on the baby.
(That's another thing I am annoyed about. I've been using disposable diapers since Friday, because I didn't want to leave dirty diapers sitting in the laundry room in case I went into labor. I MISS USING ALL MY PRETTY DIAPERS!)
