Anyway, the point of this blog is to tell a little bit about myself. My name is Megan, duh. I'm 19, I turn 20 on February third. I am the oldest of 6 kids. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters. I got pregnant when I was 18, had her when I was 19. I graduated in 2009. I love Hinder and Three Days Grace. I also like a lot of older music... Like 60's, 70's and 80's kinda old. I believe that parents should never co sleep, I believe in letting kids 'cry it out'. I am a strong believer in time outs and manners. I think kids should behave in public, I am not against bribery. I believe babies should be rear facing longer than 1 year. I believe in reading to babies, even if my boyfriend makes fun of me for it.
I believe in starting cereal at 2 months, and baby food early too. I hate that doctors try to make you wait until 6 months. I also believe in making children pick up their own messes, especially at someone elses house. I hate when kids never learn respect and are allowed to run wild. Kids should be taught to respect other people's houses.
It really makes me mad when someone puts their baby forward facing when they are under one. Like really mad. Why would you risk your child like that? It's not like they know the difference. A broken leg is way easier to fix than a broken neck. I went to someone's profile on my facebook and her 9 month old was facing forward. Like really. I asked and she said he is big for his age.... So? He should still be rear facing, douche.
I am also against baby proofing. Unless it's something that can hurt a baby, I think everything should be left as is. The baby should be taught not to touch it. That way if you ever go to another persons house, your child will know not to touch.
Enough about that now.... Seth and Paige went to bed at 8. They were abusing each other and screaming and stuff so finally I was like enough is enough go to bed. Seth possibly fell asleep on his way up the stairs. lol. Tomorrow should be fun... Not. The water people are supposed to be here at 10 to fill up the water thingy. So no shower or dishes until then. Brian has to work so it's just going to be me and the kids. I need to get all 3 kids winter shoes... That should be fun. The I also have to go grocery shopping. I hate grocery shopping. Lol.

Also, let me introduce myself. My name is Brittany Mays. I am 18. I got pregnant at 15, had her at 16 and got married at 16. My birthday is March 26. I just graduated early in December 2009. I am a co-bathing, sometimes co-sleeping, extended rear-facing, kiss on the lips, strong believer in early intervention, give timeouts, go to church, get involved, teenage stay at home kind of Mom. As far as the messes go, I SOOOOO agree! My DD picks up after herself. I hate that her room is clean ALL day and then the second a friend comes over it is a MESS!!! Her friends will just go from corner to corner knocking things down, pulling the covers off the bed, and trying to turn over the bookshelf. They don't even play with the things they get out and if they do, they make sure it has a million little pieces (something DD and I can only play together) and they come into my livingroom and dump it out on the floor. URG!!! Anyway, just thought I would introduce myself. =)

ReplyDeleteMy name is Christina, I turn 21 in may. im the oldest of 3, i have 1 brother and sister. i had my first son at 17. married at 18. then my second son at 19. my boys are 18 months apart first one is 2 1/2 (3 in march) and my second is 15months (18months in march) i guraduated 08. i like all kinds of music mostly rock, mostly avenged sevenfold.lol.
ReplyDeletei believe in co-sleeping makes things easier with breastfeeding, cry it out sometimes, spanking if necessary, reading, talking to, and singing to babies. baby food and cereal at 4 months. the main things we baby-proof are the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen other than that you teach them not to touch!
