Potty training. I know, I know. I have said this before.
This time, I'm serious. So far Kayelynn's only had her panties on for 2 hours, but I'm REALLY hoping that she catches on fast! I am so done with diapers. Lol. For the next 9 months at least.
I need to figure out some kind of reward system. I'm thinking I'll let her have a sticker to put on her own chart or something every time she goes. I don't know yet. I tried the candy thing last time we attempted this. Lol.
I'll update on this later. Lol. Wish us luck!!

Hope it goes well. I have heard the sticker chart (with rewards for getting so many stickers) helps. Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteRewards didn't work for us at all. She just didn't connect the rewards with the potty.
ReplyDeleteWe would take Grace every 30 minutes, even if she didn't pee, she still got used to the potty. Then we quit putting her in diapers... it was MESSY for the first couple of days because she had more accidents then she did make it to the potty. But the fact that it made a mess got her attention, and each time she had an accident, we would talk about how she needed to go to the potty. And every time she did go on the potty, we praised her a lot. She was 100% potty trained within two weeks of doing this. Now we just got to get Brentley out of diapers :p
