So far this summer I have seen constant reports of babies, infants, and kids drowning. Either in kiddie pools, swimming pools, or even rivers.
Yesterday there was a report of a 5 month old who was in it's Bumbo seat in a kiddie pool. The mother turned her back and the baby tipped over and died. There was also a report yesterday of a 9 year old who drowned in a river.
There have been so many reports on the news of kids drowning... At least one or two a day. It pisses me off so bad! Mothers, please. If you can't keep a constant watch on you kid(s) then wait to let them swim until they can. I understand things happen, but why risk it!?
That's one of those things that could be completely avoided. Like the whole car seat thing. I went to my mom's over the weekend and her friend was there with her grandson. He was 7 months old and when they left, she put him in the back of the car in a forward facing car seat. GAH!! That just makes me so angry!! Not only is he 7 months old.. He is way smaller than Kayelynn.. And she isn't even big enough to forward face, so I know he isn't either.

We turned Grace back around to rear-facing. I figured she would flip out, but she actually doesn't mind it. She will be staying that way until at least 2, and Brentley will stay that way until he is at least 2 once he gets here.
