I'm sure some of you who are on my Facebook... Might have seen what a dummy I am.
Seth got this Cars 2 easel for Christmas. It came with an activity pad that was zip-tied to the actual easel. For some reason instead of going up like I intended... The knife went straight to the side and into my hand. Right in the little webbed part between the thumb and index finger. I started bleeding everywhere and Seth asked me if I was going to die. Lol.
I had to get 4 stitches... I've never had them before... I swear I would rather go through labor again than feel what that damn doctor did! Lol. They gave me a numbing shot... Right in my cut... And all around it. That was by far the worst pain I have ever felt in my entire life. Plus, after all that, I still felt the first stitch going in. Lol.
I thought for sure my hand was going to be in so much pain when I woke up.. I tend to toss and turn and I was sure my hand would have gotten squished and hit... But it actually didn't hurt AT ALL when I woke up... It hurts now though. It is extremely had to change a diaper with one hand. And I can't open Kayelynn's cups. :( PLUS the other night Kayelynn threw up and had a 102 fever... The next morning I was going to give her a bath to clean her up... Then I cut my hand. She needs a bath so bad and IDK how I'm going to do it 1 handed... And Brian's never given her a bath before so she will probably freak out if he tries. We slept in the living room last night with the kerosene heater** and she wouldn't even lay by him. She wanted to be laying on me.
**Some possums found their way under our house.. And messed up our duct work... So our heat got down to like 50 degrees the other night. We had to borrow Brian's grandparent's kerosene heater for the time being... We already had someone come and give us a quote.. Hopefully we get it fixed fast. The kerosene heater kept my house at 68 all night... It works great, but the bathroom is freezing! Lol. I have a space heater running in there so our butts wont freeze to the toilet seat. Lol.

Oh my. Yah. I saw the picture. Looks painful. :/ I can't imagine that. I cut my fingers all the time. One time when I was using a knife to clean the corners and cut my finger pretty bad, but that is the worst I have ever done.
ReplyDeleteThat sucks! I dropped a knife on my toe two Thanksgivings ago. It bled forever, but I never went and got stitches lol. Hope it gets better soon!

ReplyDeleteUgh!! I hate kerosene heaters. I have a huge scar on my left hand from where i was burned by one. Plus they gave me horrible headaches and nose bleeds:( Hope yalls heat gets fixed soon.
