Yayness!

Seth didn't have school today due to the mass snow that we got yesterday, so I went to go get him and Paigey at 10. The roads still had a little on them but for the most part as long as I drove a little slower it was fine. I think I have mentioned before that Seth and Paige's mom lives like 45 to 50 minutes away. Well when I got to Bethel, which is about 10 to 15 minutes away from their hours the roads were so bad!! It took me 45 minutes to drive what should have taken me 10. They hadn't even been touched by a plow, and they didn't even have tire tracks in them. I was so scared.

After I picked them up and was driving back down the road for the second time I just couldn't believe that their mom allowed me to pick them up with the roads like that, their mom had to drive that exact road in order to get to work an hour earlier. 

Once we got back the first thing I did was put Paige in some big girl panties. All day she went pee on the potty by herself! She had one accident right before bed, she went #2 in her undies but I know it's sometimes a little harder to get kids to poo on the potty than it is to get them to pee. I am just so happy! So I told her that we're going to buy her a new doll. :)

Brian started his new job today, yay! He's painting for the union so he gets medical and pension, plus he's making 10$ an hour and gets a $2 raise every year! I'm so happy, everything is finally coming together.

Edit:: I forgot to tell the story that made me do this post to begin with!! We went to Golden Corral to celebrate Brian's first day of work (Plus all 3 kids eat free, heck yes.) Anyway, Paige wore big girl panties since it's only about 7 minutes from our house and I packed and extra outfit, anyway.... While I'm trying to eat my ice cream Paige says she has to pee, I pick her up and rush her to the bathroom. She sits on the potty and I have to like hold her up since she's so small the toilet is about to eat her. She then proceeds to tell me that she can't pee. We go back to the table and I start eating my ice cream again... Repeat 6 times. Needless to say guess who didn't get to finish their ice cream 'cause it melted... That's right.
