At about 8:30 I realized the kids really needed baths(Well, showers in my house.) So first I made Seth undress. I hurried and got him in the shower, washed his hair and body, rinsed him off, wrapped him in his froggy towel, carried him to the living room, cleaned out his ears, clipped his toenails, got him dressed. Then I helped Paige undress, got her it the shower, fought her to let me get her hair wet, washed her hair and body, rinsed her off, wrapped her in her princess towel, carried her to the living room, cleaned out her ears, clipped her toenails, got her dressed. The I wrapped my legs around Kayelynn as she kicked and screamed and clipped her toenails and fingernails. Then I undressed her and put her in the shower. I then fought to keep her in the shower with one arm as I held the spray thing (Yes, that's a technical term) with the other hand. Then I somehow managed to get her all clean. I wrapped her in her owl towel and carried her in the living room. I fought her as I cleaned out her ears and got her dressed.
At about 9:05 I took the kids one by one into the bathroom so I could brush their teeth. (Except for Kayelynn who I pinned down with my knees as I brushed her teeth.- I swear I didn't hurt her.) She hates having them brushed. Anyway, then I made Seth and Paige pee as I took Kayelynn in bed. I then replaced her on her pillow a gillion times as she screamed and tried to get up. Then I yelled for Seth and Paige who were still downstairs doing who knows what. I put Paige in bed. Asked if she wanted tucked in (Yes.) I tucked her in and gave her hugs and kisses. Then I did the same to Seth. He had a complete meltdown (Including threats of throwing up) because I took his blankets off the floor to cover him up. (Seriously Seth and Paige are odd. They each sleep with the sheet, 2 fuzzy blankets, plus their comforters.) Apparently they bed he had made on the floor was a surprise for Daddy and I messed it up. So after laying in bed with him and calming him down I finally came downstairs.
What an adventure. I really can't wait until we have a bath tub.
